Under direct supervision, the Sports Dietitian supports the health, performance, and overall well-being of student-athletes at Auburn Athletics by delivering individualized and team-based nutrition counseling and education. From performance fueling strategies to recovery support, this role helps student-athletes optimize their training, compete at their highest level, and build sustainable habits that last well beyond their sport.

Responsibilities

  • Primary dietitian for Swim/Dive and Equestrian. RD will also assist with baseball.
  • Assist with nutrition operations including ordering and fueling station management.
  • Assists with assessing dietary practices, body composition, and energy balance (intake and expenditure) of athletes in the context of athletic performance and well-being.
