offices for Army, Navy and Air Force is looking for an Athletic Trainer that provides and rehabilitative health care for student athletes.

Provide sports medicine coverage in the field and clinic hours including but not limited to injury prevention, evaluation treatment, and return to duty. Attend field and classroom training events and provide off-campus medical coverage.
Travel to
ROTC
events (e.g. Field Training Exercises and
ROTC
Athletic Competitions) and provide coverage as needed.
Develop and maintain comprehensive medical records including but not limited to medical and health history, injury, treatment, rehabilitation, profiles, time lost and return to duty.
Interact with AU and outside medical personnel for referrals, treatments, imaging, and other required needs.
Oversee individualized remedial fitness training programs.
Supervise Performance Optimization program gym fitness training, track progress, develop individualized programs, and coordinate with Cadre for integration with unit training goals and activities.
Prepare and present reports on all programs and data collected as required by each
ROTC
branch.
Work with individual branch Commanders or their representatives so provide programs and resources as needed.
Develop appropriate holistic health and fitness educational briefings as requested/required and bring in topic experts to provide educational briefings and resources.

Education and Experience:
Level I requires a Bachelor’s degree with no experience.
Level II requires a Bachelor’s degree with 2 year of experience at the preceding level or equivalent.
Level III requires a Bachelor’s degree with 4 years. Experience must include at least 2 years at the preceding level or equivalent.
Substitutions allowed for Experience:
When a candidate has the required education, but lacks the required experience, they may normally apply additional appropriate education toward the experience requirement, at a rate of one (1) year relevant education per year of required experience.

Must be certified by the National Trainers’ Association Board and eligible to be licensed in the State of Alabama by the Alabama Board of Athletic Training.
